Why I Decided To Start Blogging Again

Sharing My Practice and My Journey With You

Hello friends,

It’s been a long while since I have written, although I have had the intention of writing a regular blog. I started blogging on my website a few years ago, with the desire to write at least twice a month.  However, as my mother used to say….”the road to hell is paved with good intentions.”  Ideas abound but the pace of life has gotten in the way.  Now, I am feeling my ideas/passions pushing on me, demanding to be birthed and shared.

Why does anyone blog?

We want to reach more people, and we want to grow and expand our reach.  For me, personally, this is about living my dharma, or purpose.    I’m excited to get back into writing and sharing my thoughts with you.To hold myself accountable, I want to put my intentions out in the universe.  I’m doing that with this post and look forward to seeing where this will lead me both personally and professionally.

What you can expect going forward

Before I end, I will share with you a few of the areas/topics that I want to explore in my writing, and continue to integrate into my work:

  • Therapy as spiritual practice

  • Bringing yoga and psychotherapy together

  • The link between chronic illness and unresolved trauma

  • The wisdom of the body in trauma resolution

  • Symptoms as messengers

  • How our culture contributes to chronic illness

  • Tantric hatha yoga

  • The Four Desires (read a past blog post on this topic here).

  • Ethics as a living system vs moral code

  • Yoga and Ethics

I look forward to sharing my journey and practice with you. Please leave me a comment below if you have any requests on other topics within my area of expertise that you are curious about and would like me to cover.

Thank you for reading.

Warm regards,

Linda
